AquaSys® GP is a water-soluble support filament that’s compatible with PLA and several other entry level build materials. Designed to help users print more parts in less time, it dissolves in room temperature tap water— all while giving complex designs the high-quality support they need. AquaSys GP provides users with outstanding print fidelity, shelf life, and rapid dissolution with very clean removal upon exposure to room temperature water.
AquaSys GP is the obvious choice for customers with any of the following additive manufacturing needs:
• Complex part designs
• Engineering and general purpose materials
• Simple, hands-off support dissolution
• Reliable print quality
Solubility: Rapidly dissolves in standard tap water at temperatures of 25°C. No additional chemicals or custom dissolution baths are required.
Shrinkage: Very low shrinkage. Support material does not curl during printing.
Typical printing conditions:
• Extruder temperature: 225-255°C
• Build plate temperature: 40-60°C
• Chamber temperature: Up to 30°C

Finish faster
AquaSys® GP dissolves 20X faster than a leading brand of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) at room temperature.
Match your material
AquaSys® GP is compatible with commonly used polyester resins, including PLA, PET, and PETG.
Create without limits
AquaSys® GP provides stable support to complex designs, even those with features like cavities, voids, angles over 45 degrees or intricate internal details.
Match your machine
AquaSys® GP is available in 1.75mm and 2.85mm filament to meet the needs of most professional, industrial and prosumer 3D printers.
Dispose with a clean conscience
AquaSys® GP dissolves in plain tap water with no need for harsh chemicals, and can be safely poured down the drain.
(Local regulations may vary).
Enjoy universal adhesion
AquaSys® GP has excellent adhesion to a variety of build materials and build plates including glass, PC-ABS, PEI.
Print with confidence
AquaSys® GP provides robust printer integrity, supporting engineered polyesters in chamber temperatures up to 30°C.
Reduce post-processing time
AquaSys® GP offers significantly more efficient support removal, reducing costly labor and downtime during post-processing—which is responsible for up to 70% of 3D printing costs.
Feature Applications
• Functional prototypes: Leaves behind a smooth finish–ideal for creating prototypes with varied, complex designs.
• Jigs and fixtures: Put tooling in the hands of operators faster with rapid support dissolution.
• End-use parts: Produce more parts faster by cutting out costly post-processing tasks.
